- Fault present: P2118-00: Throttle actuator control motor current range/performance P0741-00: Torque converter clutch system performance or stuck off Cleared faults. Checked throttle assembly. Test drove vehicle. Only fault that returned: P0741-00: Torque converter clutch system performance or stuck off Test drives good with no slipping. Will pull fluid sample.
- Fluid is dark and a little low. Cleaned connectors. Reset vehicle adaptions. Topped off fluid and cleared faults. Test drove vehicle. Vehicle shifted a little hard at freeway speeds. Checked faults when vehicle returned from test drive. Fault returned for torque converter. Transmission has internal failure.
- Unable to duplicate complaint while vehicle at shop. System operates using sensor behind rearview mirror. If system continues to fault out, most likely will need new rain sensor/ auto headlight sensor: $404 parts/labor/tax
- Replaced weak upper tailgate struts.
