- CUSTOMER PRE-PAID FOR PART on 4/7/23 $1500 VISA
- Confirmed slight vibration and growling noise at 30-40mph under slight acceleration. Inspected all components and no concerns. Swapped tires with another vehicle and took vehicle on test drive. Noise changed and diminished some.
- Front differential pinion shaft moves in and out a little. Grinding from front diff occurs under slight acceleration, and fluid appears dark with some metal debris.
- Installed front differential from dealer. Front rebuilt differential is not usable due to dents on sealing surface for extension tube. There is also a protruding dent on the surface which also does not allow for proper sealing. Will need to warranty front differential. Replaced front differential under warranty. Test drove vehicle after replacement. All feels, looks, and sounds good at this time. Drove on freeway speeds and arterial roads.
