    • Refrigerant level is low – vacuum test is passing and compressor is working properly. Serviced AC system and completed recharge. Discounted some of labor in good faith.
    • Performed A/C service. Recovered, evacuated and recharged system. Added refrigerant to system. Rechecked after service

    • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all exterior lights. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures.     • Replace burnt right rear side marker bulb. Windshield cowl is starting to warp, which can cause water ingress on passenger side through filter air box. Valve cover VVT seals are leaking oil. Both front inner and outer tie rods are loose. Transmission sleeve is seeping fluid. Left front wheel bearing is loose.
    • WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY – LEFT FRONT
    • VVT seals leaking. Replaced.
    • Replaced worn inner and outer tie rod ends.
    • Checked all suspension and steering parts for wear. Checked tire pressure and condition. Checked riding height, and alignment of all four wheels. Adjusted caster, camber, toe-in, and thrust angle as needed on all four wheels. Centered steering wheel. Test drove vehicle.
    • Replaced warped windshield cowl. Installed deflector.
    • Performed transmission service. Replaced transmission pan, gasket and electronic sleeve, and fluid. Test drove vehicle after replacement.

    • Oil coming from right front side of engine. Found Bank 1 exhaust VVT actuator oring leaking. Upper and lower timing cover seals are good. Vacuum pump and gasket are good. Oil filter housing and valve cover gaskets are all holding and stable. No other leaks visible.
    • Replaced leaking oring and cleaned area. Rechecked. No secondary leaks present at this time.

    • Noticed vehicle was in grass/snow driving mode, which can affect how the gas pedal feels, and how the car performs/accelerates because that mode limits the throttle input and RPM. Adjusted back to regular mode and vehicle is operating normally now.

  • 2004 Land Rover Discovery

    • Fault related to purge valve. Cleared fault and will monitor.
    • Clicking noise from behind central fuse box and interlock solenoid clicks when brake is applied and key on ignition is on. Checked for BCU function – and all is good. Checked connections and ground for BCU. Cleaned and applied dielectric grease. Found loose wires where slabs unit is located. Repaired wires, but clicking noise continued. Clicking from behind central fuse box from two of the onboard interlock relays controlled by the IDM. Relays and IDM are overloading and resetting depending on the load.IDM and onboard relays are not serviceable. Swapped out fuse relays box and clicking and interlock solenoid issues went away. Retested several times over two days. No battery draw. Programmed new IDM to PCM security loop. Program successful.
    • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all exterior lights. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures.     • Paint repair is setting
    • For the velars they only make the metal shank cover built in with the fob. Shank will not reliably stay on key without cover. Would need to order entire new key.

    • Starter solenoid is not engaging. Will need to replace starter and recheck to move forward.
    • Front brakes: 5MIL Rear brakes: 5MIL Tire tread: 5/32 Bat/alt: Battery testing bad – will replace under warranty. Alternator testing well. Coolant protection level: -60 degrees, expansion tank hose is leaking. Belts/hoses: In good condition Filters/fluids: Filters are good. Brake fluid is dark and low. Power steering fluid is dirty and low. LOF due in 700mi. Minor transmission pan leak – can monitor Wipers/lights: Recommend replacing wipers. Third brake light inop – replaced bulb. Suspension components: In good condition Drivability: Vehicle drives well
