    • …is possibly damaged. Check and advise. Upon inspection, technician was able to confirm that the engine did overheat. Cylinder compression is very low. Spec says it should be around 120-130PSI, but is only measuring less than 30PSI. There is physical damage to the pistons and the cylinder walls, so the only option moving forward to repair the vehicle would be a long block engine replacement.

    • Diagnosed and was not able to duplicate noise in belts, steering, drive train or brakes after service. Minor squeak from rear bushings intermittently.
    • Was not able to find anything out of range to cause the wobble. Technician did find tire pressure was on the low side which could have contributed to the wobbly feeling, which was aired before test drive. Vehicle does have off road, knobby tires, which could be contributing to the wobble. Upon further inspection and test drives, found rear ace bar leaking fluid slowly, causing air to enter the hydraulic system and cause side to side rocking. Will need to replace leaking ace bar, and bleed system.
    • CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM – Battery and alternator both testing well under load. CHECK SUSPENSION – Suspension, steering, brakes and drive line all look good and tight, but rear sway bar bushings are dry and have some rust. Will monitor. CHECK FOR LEAKS – Very minor oil leak at valve cover gaskets – can monitor. CHECK FLUIDS AND FILTERS – 4×4 fluids are full and clean. Air and pollen filter are dirty – replaced. Brake fluid ad PS fluids full and clean. Minor differential whine. Will monitor. OTHER: While airing up tires and adjusting PSI, left front stem valve was frozen. Had to replace component.
    • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all exterior lights. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Front brakes __7MIL__ approx. remaining Rear brakes __7MIL__ approx. remaining Tire Tread Depth: LF: 10/32 RF: 10/32 RR: 10/32 LR: 10/32
    • REPLACED FILTERS – AIR AND POLLEN
    • Replaced component, bled system, test drove vehicle.

    • Fault present: P2118-00: Throttle actuator control motor current range/performance P0741-00: Torque converter clutch system performance or stuck off Cleared faults. Checked throttle assembly. Test drove vehicle. Only fault that returned: P0741-00: Torque converter clutch system performance or stuck off Test drives good with no slipping. Will pull fluid sample.
    • Fluid is dark and a little low. Cleaned connectors. Reset vehicle adaptions. Topped off fluid and cleared faults. Test drove vehicle. Vehicle shifted a little hard at freeway speeds. Checked faults when vehicle returned from test drive. Fault returned for torque converter. Transmission has internal failure.
    • Unable to duplicate complaint while vehicle at shop. System operates using sensor behind rearview mirror. If system continues to fault out, most likely will need new rain sensor/ auto headlight sensor: $404 parts/labor/tax
    • Replaced weak upper tailgate struts.
    • WIPERS – REPLACED FRONT AND REAR

    • Found unsecured drivers seatbelt pretensioner connector. Reconnected and warning went away.
    • Faults appear to be voltage related due to modules not being powered enough to communicate. Fault did not return after replacing battery. Will monitor.
    • Voltage faults present – battery is testing with low CCA. Recommend replacing battery and then rechecking active faults on dash afterwards. Reuse belts if possible – clean off and recheck to make sure there is no squeak or corrosion
    • Found water pump and outlet pipes leaking coolant. Will need to replace components and recheck.
    • Replaced the water pump and refilled coolant. Pressure tested after repairs. System passed pressure test at this time. Test drove vehicle after replacement.
    • Replaced leaking components, test drove, rechecked.
    • Replaced battery and reset monitoring system.

    • Light not on at this time, level looks good, no residue found in engine bay. Performed pressure test and not finding any leaks at this time. Will monitor. Sensor may be faulty or may have just been an air pocket in system, or may have been low from not being topped off regularly at service intervals.
    • Pulsation is present due to brake wear, as well as some loose feeling from worn and loose front lower control arm bushings and right front wheel hub bearing. All components could also be contributing to squeak.
    • See above.
    • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all exterior lights. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Front brakes __3MIL__ approx. remaining Rear brakes __3MIL__ approx. remaining Tire Tread Depth: LF: 8/32 RF: 8/32 RR: 8/32 LR: 8/32 While performing service, noticed large oil leak present at oil filter seal – filter was not tightened properly. Cleaned area after service.
    • Replaced front and rear brake pads, rotors and sensors. Cleaned and lubricated bake components. Test drove vehicle to bed in new brakes.
    • Replaced loose front right wheel hub.
    • Completed brake fluid flush, bleed, and refill. Removed some labor time with brake replacement overlap.

    • Coolant level was overfilled. No leaks found at this time. Cleaned area, adjusted coolant level and will monitor. Light is not returning at this time. Overfilling system can cause it to over pressurize and leak out of cap. Can also introduce air pockets into system. Cap may be damaged, but will need to monitor.
    • Confirmed prior diagnosis. Replaced #8 fuel injector, cleared faults, reset adaptations. Fault did not return during test drives and vehicle is no longer misfiring.
    • Replaced and rechecked.
    • Minor oil leak at oil filter extension housing seal – recommend replacing with next oil change due to labor overlap
