CEL present indicating misfires – not happening actively right now. Cleared and will monitor. Confirmed a burning smell from the left side of vehicle. Rear brakes are making a loud squeak in reverse, without or without applying brakes. Left rear brake is locked up and rotor is overheated and warped. Unlocked caliper, cleaned and lubricated. Will need to replace rear brake components + at least left caliper if issue persists. Minor vibration in seat from warped rotor present.

(note: ECU has corrosion) Stored faults present for incorrect gear ratio in transmission. Upon further inspection, found transmission leaking fluid. Fluid is low, which inhibits the components ability to function properly. Transmission cannot properly hold a gear due to damaged internal components from fluid being low. Would need to replace transmission to rectify.

Burnt exhaust valve present, cyl 4 misfire. Replaced plug and vehicle is running somewhat better, but compression in cylinder is very low. Performed leak down test and compression test. Will need to refurbish the drivers side cylinder head/do a valve repair on just the head that has the bad cylinder, then recheck.
Present for misfire.
Vehicle has coils, but is not overridden New pcv New engine New radiator New bcm New battery Replaced burnt marker bulbs. Fan clutch pulley inop. No brake pressure present – brake booster is faulty. Service due. No heat on drivers side.

Left rear caliper a little hard to bleed out. Fluid came out, but not at the speed recommended. Brake is working normal, but something to watch.

Right rear brake completely frozen and locking up. Unable to release. Found right rear caliper seized. Replaced right rear caliper and rotor as rotor was damaged. Left front caliper also seized. Replaced and rechecked system.

CUSTOMER SUPPLYING OWN SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES
Performed diagnostic test. Engine has good fuel pressure and ignition spark. Found headgaskets have blown and coolant is in all 8 cylinders. Tore down engine to further inspect. Pulled both cylinder heads. Found burnt valves on cylinder #1 and cylinder #6. All pistons are washed out and short block will not rotate. Piston rings are seized. Will need to replace engine block. Oil pump/front cover and knock sensor will need to be replaced at time of install.
Transferred engine from shop to Seattle machine shop initially. Then told too many things were melted and beyond recovery that it couldn't be machined.
Removed engine and installed rebuilt engine. Replaced thermostat. Installed customers spark plugs. Performed oil changes per engine install instructions. After install test drove vehicle 15 miles, then 20 miles. Rechecked after test drive. The standard limited warranty for the engine is 12 months unlimited miles to the original purchaser.
CORE CHARGE – MIGHT GET BACK. Will wait and see once it gets checked in with machine shop back east.
Sent fuel injectors out to be serviced. Repaired port injectors, cleaned, and installed new orings. A few of the injectors were failing when tested before being conditioned.
Removed fuel injectors and re installed after service.

Upstream oxygen sensor bank one flatlined due to being oil soaked. Tried to clean, but still not operating. Replaced oxygen sensor, cleared fault and test drove vehicle.
A/C clutch has failed. Will need to replace A/C compressor.
A/C compressor has failed. Replaced A/C compressor. Recovered and recharged A/C system. A/C system now operating.
West Coast Auto Glass installed new windshield. *Customer supplied seals. Replaced front wipers.
